Step Back in Time at This Historic Property

The Rose Cottage is a romantic fully renovated heritage-listed Settler's Cottage that was built in 1851. This is a unique romantic cottage that provides a complete intimate get-away. Enjoy the old-world charm of unique fittings such as Pull chain lights and toilet and an antique claw-foot bath, while still having some modern comforts of an air conditioner and a TV. Enjoy a walk with the wildlife in the surrounding farmland, or just snuggle up in bed, with a crackling fire going and watch a romantic movie with that special someone (firewood provided from May-September).
The Cottage features a queen-sized bed in a separate bedroom with very comfortable beddings and heated blankets underneath. The Rose is located at the front of the 1 Acre property with its own parking spot ensuring complete privacy from the rest of the property.

The cottage kitchenette includes a microwave, crockery, cutlery, fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities and toaster, and a small electric frypan. A Weber for use on the verandah. 

Please Note - There are limited cooking facilities in this cottage.

The claw and ball freestanding bath is part of a huge bathroom with a large, separate, walk-in shower.​

Outdoor & Indoor fireplaces are available, along a verandah, and a small, cozy balcony to enjoy the quietness of nature surroundings.
